Modern fabrics from Clarke & Clarke again used in an open plan kitchen dining room. Each window is a single curtain so when pushed back is out of the way of the opening doors. Double pleats help the curtains stack back with minimum bulk, out of the way.

The heading was kept simple with a double pinch pleat which helps maintain solid structure to the folds and doesn’t detract from the incredible shades thrown together. This is a Wow! window meant to be admired. The drama of the colours is enough for some, but the deep window and wall colour were chosen
New fabrics coming in of Quentin Blake’s iconic sketches of favourite characters. Matilda with her head in books; sweets and Charlie and the chocolate factory to start with. Classics for bedroom curtains, blinds or pump\laundry bags. These fabrics will last longer than any other nursery\children’s room’s designs I have seen before. And they take me
The sunlight shines through these linen green curtains giving a dappled light despite the interlining. This effect is really lovely in this case – the natural light and shadows of the trees from the garden pleased the customer. Daylight wasn’t totally obscured. Tapestry kits take hours to make and require a good deal of skill. This Kaffe Fassett aubergine is a lovely example and I was asked to make it into a cushion for a Christmas present. It’s so lovely I wanted to share it with everyone!
This pair of silk curtains were inherited, and given a new lease of life to fit a bay window following a house move. They are interlined and the neutral colour and the silk’s stunning sheen made them too special to discard. Because they are in a northfacing bay window the silk will keep a few
